On Saturday 22nd June , Ian McCranor came along to our academy and as well as hosting a family fun day, he introduced the idea of a 90 day challenge.

This involved people pledging to do something healthy for 90 days in the hope that this then becomes a habit.

Here are a couple of examples.

“…….for the next 90 days I will practice my karate, with my ultimate aim to be better at karate”

Cole

“…….for the next 90 days I will cyle round our street 10 times once every week, with my ultimate aim to be playing out more”

Robin

“…….for the next 90 days I will do 15 minutes minimum exercise, with my ultimate aim to be fitter and in better condition”

Nick

“…….for the next 90 days I will do 15 minutes of exercise (press ups & sit ups), with my ultimate aim to be fitter and better at karate”

Lyla

“…….for the next 90 days I will stretch for 10 to 20 minutes a day, with my ultimate aim to be able to do box splits”

Oliver

“…….for the next 90 days I will ride my bike every weekend, with my ultimate aim to be better at riding my bike”

Hazel

“…….for the next 90 days I will try to lose weight, with my ultimate aim to be going from 15 stone to 14.25 stone”

Bernard

“…….for the next 90 days I will  go for at least one swim per week, with my ultimate aim to be  doing 3 x 30 minutes exercise a week”

We believe it is great to set yourself challenges and we hope by putting them on paper people will really rise to them!
